Please join us to celebrate 

CLARK'S FOURTH BIRTHDAY

on the NYC Ferry and at The Yard adventure playground 

JUNE 1, 2025

from 9:15am at the Atlantic Ave/BBP Pier 6 NYC Ferry stop

to 12:00pm at Governors Island

We will meet at the Atlantic Ave/BBP Pier 6 stop at 9:15am for a 9:28am departure of the SB NYC Ferry.* 

We will have tickets for anyone traveling with us and the party will start onboard.

Once we reach the island, there is a short walk to The Yard, so a scooter or stroller may be helpful. 

If you have a child who will enter The Yard, please sign their waiver in advance; closed-toe shoes are required for children, but adults are NOT allowed inside no matter what's on their feet.

We will set up undercover/in the shade at a picnic area nearby so that your child can easily locate you. Snacks, refreshments and—of course—birthday cake will be served for both children and adults, and there are clean bathrooms directly next to The Yard.

SB ferries depart from Governors Island (in the reverse route toward Corlears Hook) at 11:46am, 12:28pm, or approximately every 45 minutes thereafter. There are so many fun things to do on Governors Island, so please don't limit your day to the time you spend with us.

All children in the Smith Street Brooklyn Heights Petite Section class are invited, along with other friends, so feel free to coordinate travel plans within the class, or to check in with us about the guest list.

The party will take place RAIN OR SHINE so please plan accordingly.

*NOTE: Our ferry departs from DUMBO/Fulton Ferry at 9:11am and Wall Street/Pier 11 at 9:21am before stopping to pick us up at Atlantic Ave/BBP Pier 6 at 9:28am. It then stops at Red Hook at 9:38am before arriving at Governors Island at 9:47am. This is the first ferry of the morning and the one you will need to catch to arrive at the party on time—the next ferry doesn't arrive on Governors Island until 11am. You can also travel on the Governors Island Ferry from Manhattan; please board by 9:30am to arrive on time.
